Persimmon: Natural mutation of Rojo Brillante.
The tree is of good vigour, producing fruits of high quality and appearance. It copes well with post-harvest treatments to remove astringency. A typical fruit present dark red-orange external colour, spherical shape (height/diameter ratio 0.90 to 1.03) and totally seedless and delicious flesh.
Mid-season. It reaches commercial sizes earlier than Rojo Brillante, so it can be harvested a couple of weeks in advance. October (NH) / April (SH).
